Java Developer

Responsibilities:
•        Responsible for strategic technical architecture, design and development of complex web applications leveraging current and emerging technologies.
•        Analyze and design of core architecture components, solve major technical problems.
•        Responsible for architecture design guidance and technical documentation.
•        Technical mentoring and training for design and development teams, work with project managers to manage team members.
•        Provide technical leadership and coordinate development deliverables across onshore, offshore and vendors.
•        Prepare architecture design documentation and participate in design, code reviews and POI reviews.
•        Analyze and troubleshoot existing processes and optimize code in order to improve performance whenever required.
•        Develop and enforce coding practices designed to promote code reusability and quality.
•        Guide in defining and updating the team standards to improve the development process and quality of deliverables.
•        Ensure systems are designed and developed in compliance with corporate security and privacy policies.
•        Work closely with onshore and offshore Project Manager/Project Lead, Delivery Manager, System Architect, Test Manager and Product Supporter, and drive offshore design/development to completion.

Qualifications:
•        B.A. / B.S. and above, major in information systems and/or software engineering / computer science or related field and 2+ years’ related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
•        Minimum 2 years experience architecting, designing and developing large distributed enterprise systems including demonstrated experience with J2EE/Dot Net architecture, Web Service, SOA and UDDI.
•        Experience with any of these software technologies is a big plus: WebSphere, BizTalk, Mainframe and BI, Rational Rose or Together.
•        Proficiency of web application development, familiar with Java/C++/C#/VB.Net.
•        Proficiency of such large relational databases as Oracle, SQL Server2005/2008.
•        Proficiency of SOA/ESB/EAI and OOA/OOD, familiar with Design Patterns and UML.
•        Experience with any of this domain or industry is MUST: Automotive, Dealer Management System, Dealer Communication System and STAR standard.
•        Applied experience in large and complexity application and system integration, including integration of client-server and/or web solutions to legacy systems.
•        Comprehensive understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) process development and product deployment across an enterprise.
•        Ability to anticipate and effectively deal with problems and roadblocks.
•        Able to lead a team of high caliber design and development engineers.
•        Proven record of leading development teams through a complete delivery cycle for complex business solutions.
•        Excellent written and verbal communication skills, mastery of the English Language.
•        Good communication skills, team-working spirit and leadership.
