Manager Engineering (China Test Engineering)
Job Description:
- Provide leadership for a team of test solution development and sustaining engineers in the optical networking, data management and access telecom space.
- As a member of Global Test Engineering Leadership team, active participation in the transformation of the organization in response to the changing operations requirements and position global test engineering to support Tellabs future success.
- Partnership with R&D, Operations, Customer Service, PLM, Sales and other global business functions to timely address customer quality requirements, and meeting operational expectations.
- Must be able to adapt to changing business situations, possess strong strategic and tactical execution skills, work and think well under pressure, has a bias towards action and be a strong team player.

Job Description:
- Technical leadership of the Test Engineering staff in Tellabs Operations, China.
- Tactical leadership responsibility for the Tellabs, China Test Engineering projects.
- Support the recruitment of Test Engineers, as we grow the organization.
- Perform role of Test Engineering Liaison by working with all R&D teams for all the product lines in Tellabs China, for the Ops TE development teams located worldwide.

Job Description:
This is an engineering position with responsibility in system integration testing in the Tellabs MSO 719x group.
- Minimum 5 years system integration experience in network equipment and specializing in SDH/SONET, DWDM, L2 Ethernet technologies which includes but does not limit to xSTP, LACP, RPR, LAG, 802.1x/3x etc
- The responsibilities include both manual and automation testing with setting up testing environment, designing, implementing, debugging and executing test cases and scripts in a simulated or real environment, reporting and analyzing the test results
- Additional responsibility includes participating in regular communication with domestic and oversea peers
Requirements:
- Must have BSEE/BSCE and 5 years working experiences in telecom industry
- Direct experience in testing, planning, installing and supporting network management software is required
- In depth knowledge and experience of key FCAPS concepts is mandatory.
- Working experience in Windows and Unix environment including knowledge of shell commands are needed
