Title:         System Engineer

Description
The purpose of the job as a Systems Developer within Ericsson Provisioning and Activation is to technically define, drive and develop Ericsson's provisioning features and support to other solution domains like Wireless (HLR), IMS, Charging and Broadband.

As a Systems Developer your main responsibilities consist of requirements analysis and refinement, system and/or network design, and related activities such as product and system documents/CPI, interfaces, functionality and performance. You are also expected to drive internal improvements together with other disciplines (like design and verification) as well as taking an active role in identifying new ideas and innovations.

The tasks are performed as part of pre-phase activities and within development projects, but also as other activities like standardization, technical support to sales and market units as well as solution support to integration services.

Within your work you are expected to have an active interaction with other roles in the whole of Ericsson, which includes to:
•        Discuss and provide requirements feedback to product managers
•        Propose and discuss technical solutions to other solution's system managers and solution architects
•        Support sales to prepare customer proposals and answer customer questions
•        Follow-up requirements implementation with developers.
  
Qualifications
The minimum requirerement is a university degree within Telecommunications or Software Engineering.
We are looking for you that have documented system and/or development knowledge from the domains supported by current provisioning solutions and/or previous experiences from systems development work. It is also meriting with documented proof on innovative behavior, for example approved patents or similar.
We expect you to have solid English communication skills and good social abilities to interact with others.


Software Developer

Qualifications
  
You shall have good skills in software engineering principles like software design, programming and testing techniques.
You will preferable have knowledge about agile principles, automated development environments and development using databases.
Knowledge of telecommunications systems and communication equipment and protocols is meriting.

You shall also have
• A university degree or higher in computer science or equivalent.
• Well established skills in programming language such as Java or C++
• Good knowledge in Unix (Solaris)
• Experience in software development of server applications and database access.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Ability to learn new technology quickly and apply to tasks
• Innovative and solution thinking abilities
• Open minded and willing to take challenges
• Teamwork spirit

You should also have
• A university degree or above in telecommunication, compute science or equivalent
• Experiences in telecom system management or system integration areas
• Good written and spoken English
