楼主为啥把它加入metadb呢？1T的metadb是不是太大了，你改小点兴许可以

我实践后的结果是：
1、35号磁盘大小为400多GB，可以创建软分区。
2、37号磁盘大小为1TB，创建分区失败。

我的疑问是Solaris 10不支持1TB以上大小的软分区吗？

我在Solaris volume manager administration guide里看到有如下的描述：
Caution – Do not create volumes larger than 1Tbyte if you expect to run the Solaris software with a
32-bit kernel. Additionally, do not create volumes larger than 1Tbyte if you expect to use a version of
the Solaris OS prior to the Solaris 9 4/03 release. See “Overview of Multi-Terabyte Support in Solaris
Volume Manager” on page 45 for more information about large volume support in Solaris Volume
Manager.

我对metadb的概念很模糊，能解释下跟metainit有什么联系吗？

我对400GB大小的磁盘创建了metadb数据库成功，但1TB大小的硬盘就不行。
