一个关于SCO开机程序启动的问题

SCO 506里面有没有类似WINDOWS中MSCONFIG里的启动或程序菜单中的启动菜单，就是一开机用某个指定用户登录后自动执行一个设定好的程序，这个功能在哪里实现？

系统自身是没有这样的程序的。

但是象msgconfig 这样的工具，系统自身没有

除非你用双机容错的软件，
该软件会随系统的启动而自动启动

能大概说说什么意思吗，比如我要启动一个程序在启动時，我怎么做？    还有“双机容错的软件”是什么软件，我用过一个餐饮管理系统，SCO下跑的，每次输入UID后（无密码）直接自动进入那个程序了就，我就想知道这个怎么做的，都没有出现 ＃

实现这个只需要在用户的.profile文件中加入你要执行的程序就行了。

inittab 只是运行级对应表
在用户的.profile设置吧
或是在/etc/rc2.d

在/etc/rc2.d目录下创建一个以S开头的文件，里面写上需要执行的程序即可。

说的对，按照楼主的需求，不是到系统启动的，加到.profile 就行了
