JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title : Senior System Analyst
Report directly to : Team Leader, System Development
Location : Tianjin
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical design, utilizing good design practices, documentation, and security policies.
• With supervision from development team leads, develop, test, resolve defects, and document assigned application modules.
• Participate in design and code reviews with leads and peers.
• Follow the process of software development life cycle, including proper interactions with development, project management, quality assurance, database, and production support personnel.
• Gain clear understanding of the application architecture, database design, and business domain for the assigned products.
• Keeping up with new technology and extend its applicability to the product.
• Perform the above duties for new implementations and maintenance of existing systems in production.
Selection Criteria (Experience / Knowledge required):
• At least 3 year working experience with Java programming and .net in enterprise-level applications.
• Working experience in database programming and queries with JDBC and SQL, using databases such as Oracle, MS SQL.
• Experience with database driven multi-tier web application development.
• Experience with Linux environment and shell scripting.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a technical team.
• Ability to communicate technical content in both written and spoken English.
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking capability.
