关于6140升级firmware的问题!

请教高手: 我用cam 在升级6140盘阵时,为什么总是升级失败.具体报错如下: Error from updating Controller - Caught exception: Error in executing SYMbolAPI command activateStagedControllerFirmware (ReturnCode = 101)）。

我两个控制器的网口都连在交换机上了,主机也能ping通两个控制器的Ip.我升级时就是在注册完盘阵后,在web 界面中显示盘阵在降级状态,然后我就点击updata firware按钮.然后出现升级的进程条,到90%多的时候就报上面的错误.我一共3,4台机器都报这个错.

请教各位大侠,正确的步骤应该是什么?升级前还要做什么准备工作吗?

楼主可以透漏点更详细的信息，比如从哪个版本升级到哪个版本

可以考虑两种办法

1、安装更高版或更版的cam软件重新升级
或santricity升级

2、串口登录，两个控制器使用sysWipe初始化，重新升级

我现在的控制器版本是：06.19.25.16，用CAM6.1.1的基准是： 06.60.11.10升级,失败!
用最新的6.2也失败.楼上说的sysWipe初始化,我也试过,还是不行.关键是我这半年期间一共装过7,8个6140为什么每次都升级失败.从来都没升成过.
我想知道升级的方法是不是就是在WEB界面中点击update firmware按钮就行了,还有没有其他方法.升级钱除了将两个控制器的网口都连接在局域网中,还
有没有其他的注意事项.为什么我从来就没升级成功过.谢谢

我感觉为什么 你注册完后，阵列是降级状态？

楼主要不试试06.60.22.10 的固件看行不行，cam 6.5以上


cam操作也就是WEB界面中点击update firmware就行，你升级前阵列状态都正常吧？



这个是sysWipe操作，你看看

Important Caution: Once this procedure is done,
all data in the array will be lost.


1. Run the following command on controller A.


-> sysWipe

   And wait for the following messages.

02/26/09-xxxx (GMT) (sysWipe): WARN:  The subsystem configuration has been destroyed - a full SUBSYSTEM reset is now MANDATORY
02/26/09-xxxx (GMT) (sysWipe): NOTE:  If the system has dual controllers, sysWipe should be performed on each controller


2. Run "sysWipe" on controller B.

  And wait for the same messages.

3. Power off the array and wait 3 minutes, then turn the power switch on
  again.


4. Unregister the array on CAM and re-register it.
   And check the drive status.
