#./add_install_client client_name sun4u  如何？

不过还是像网络有问题。想办法看看客户端机器是否正确挂在网上,  rarp ?  接好后交换机的灯亮吗？显示正常吗？

交换机是好的，不过不在同一交换机上，但是是在同一子网内，这样也不行吗？

在server上看看netmask是多少？应该不是255.255.255.0，不然不该报这个错阿
或者
拿个本本，去接到client的网线上，配成client的地址，然后ping server，看看能通不？

    谢谢这位仁兄，
已经设置成功，原因很变态，就是配置ethers这个文件的时候，没有留下一行空行，我在这个文件末尾，敲了回车，多了一空行就好了

不过现在有遇到了另外一个问题

安装过程中报了这样一个错误：ERROR:The directory you specified does not contain a valid Solaris OS image

有哪位仁兄帮忙解答一下？谢谢啦

你应该选择nfs方式安装

刚刚看了我的安装方式就是NSF方式的

搞过几次网络安装，都没搞定过。哎

你这一步：#./setup_install_server  /export/sun  把系统镜像拷贝到 /export/sun下了吗？

最后报错是没有找到系统镜像。
你在看看 #./setup_install_server  命令有-b   -w 等参数 ，看看怎么用。
如果不用参数的话，直接用系统光盘吧。

我直接在系统里挂接 系统iso 盘到  /mnt 下，在此目录里执行

bash-3.00# ./setup_install_server /c

Converting /etc/inetd.conf
enabling network/tftp/udp6 service
enabling network/rarp service
enabling network/rpc/bootparams service
updating /etc/bootparams
copying boot file to /tftpboot/inetboot.SUN4U.Solaris_10-1

bash-3.00# share
-               /mnt   ro,anon=0   ""  

然后在客户端执行：

boot net - install 就行了
