NIS+的配置心得

按下面的步骤来执行
1．/usr/sbin/rpc.nisd
cd /usr/lib/nis

2．./nisserver –r –d sun.com. –h sh450
建立root master server(相关参数选项见nisserver)在此过程中将
设置 domainname(本例为ruiyi.com.) ,admin group,安全级别

3．./nissetup 在/var/nis/data下生成NIS+文件

4． mkdir /nis+
cp /etc/* /nis+ *备份/etc*

5．./nispopulate –F –p /nis+ -d sun.com.
populate NIS+文件，为客户端初始化准备。此过程中脚本会报若干文件缺失。Copy 这些文件名，
touch /etc/文件名, 再执行./nispopulate –F –p /nis+ -d sun.com.
将返回default network passwd :nisplus

6．检测：
/nisping -C sun.com.
Checkpointing replicas serving directory "sun.com." :
Master server is "sh450.sun.com."
Last update occurred at Thu Jan 17 00:57:52 2002

Master server is "sh450.sun.com."
checkpoint scheduled on "sh450.sun.com."

NIS+ root master server安装成功


Replicate server
./nisserver –R


Client:

1. nisclient –I –h SH450 –d sun.com.[img][/img]
