Senior J2EE Architect/Engineer – GUI
The Senior J2EE Architect/Engineer, GUI will take ownership of the presentation layer of a complex, large scale, multi-tiered, distributed, enterprise-class J2EE application.

Responsibilities:
•        Conceptualize, architect, and implement browser-based user interfaces using J2EE presentation layer technologies.
•        Develop innovative GUI’s that meet customer needs with respect to functionality, simplicity and power.
•        Independently design, code and test major features, as well as work jointly with other members of the core development team.
•        Additionally, at Retail Solutions, all developers at a minimum are responsible for unit testing their own code as well as participating in overall product testing prior to release.
Skills and Experience Required:
•        Strong software development skills, with 4+ years of Java and 3+ years in a J2EE environment with emphasis on presentation layer technologies:  JSP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and AJAX
•        Ability to take conceptual GUI requirements and translate them into working user interfaces
•        Experience with either WebLogic/WebSphere/JBoss application servers
•        Experience in server side technologies is a plus
•        Experience building large-scale J2EE-based applications that have been deployed by F500 clients
•        Proven track record of delivering high quality products on time.
