Job Description
This role supports the IBM Informix product with a focus on the IBM
Informix-based problem solving, performance tuning, and training
An Informix Enablement Software Engineer is a person who attempts to
provide technical support to critical Informix accounts, enable Informix
customers, and explore new opportunities for Informix product line. The role
will work closely with Technical Sales to support pilot program, conduct
Solution Assurance Review, exercise performance tuning, create technical
best practices, provide hands-on bootcamp/training to Informix partners and
customers.
Required Skills
l Good education background, bachelor degree or above, major in computer
Sci or equivalent.
l 3+ years of database product administration, consulting, or problem
solving experience
l Creative thinking, Quick learner, self-motivated and good team spirit.
l Hands-on Experience in Informix problem solving, performance tuning,
debugging etc.
l Experience on one of commercial database products(DB2
LUW/Oracle /Sybase etc)
l Experience on Linux/Unix system, and shell scripts
l Proficient in relational database technology
l Teamwork, Good written and verbal communication skills,
l Fluent in both spoken and written English.

Local experience: (3) years at least
