先用：Oracle VM VirtualBox Ver 3.2.10 R66523
VirtualBox 3.2.10 for Windows hosts :

安装Rhel 6.0,速度挺快
用vm安装不成功

1.Install or upgrade an existing system
2.Install system with basic video driver
预设安装为 1.Install or upgrade an existing system 但我遇到的第一个问题就是开机后完全没画面.就漆黑一片什麼都没有. 回头看一下 RedHat Enterprise Linux 6 Beta 光碟的开机定义档 /isolinux/isolinux.cfg
3.Rescue installed system
系统復原模式.
4.Boot From local drive
从本地端的硬碟开机,开机硬碟由 BIOS 来决定
5.Memory test
利用 memtest86+ 针对记忆体做检测- label linux
- menu label ^Install or upgrade an existing system
- menu default
- kernel vmlinuz
- append initrd=initrd.img stage2=hd:LABEL="Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6" askmethod
- label vesa
- menu label Install system with ^basic video driver
- kernel vmlinuz
- append initrd=initrd.img stage2=hd:LABEL="Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6" xdriver=vesa nomodeset askmethod
* xdriver=vesa
指定 xorg driver 哪 vesa,而且只要是 VESA-compatible video cards 都可以使用.
* askmethod
安装的时候我们可以选择安装的媒体来源有 CD-ROM 或 DVD 或是 硬碟 / FTP / NFS / HTTP 等..
重点是下面 nomodest 这一个是做什麼用的.
* nomodeset
上网看了一下 RHEL6 的核心 2.6.32-19 预设选项使用了 Kernel modesetting (KMS）,而核心模式设定(KMS)主要将萤幕显示解析度和显示色深从的显示由使用者空间(user space)提升到核心空间(kernel space) |
