mysql server手动安装中的错误

scripts/mysql_install_db --user=mysql

我按照MYSQL官方的手动安装mysql服务器的方法，到这一步时出错了，scripts/mysql_install_db --user=mysql
但是，我已经把bin目录加入系统PATH中了
还有，它为什么只在下面三个目录中查找呢，不是应该在PATH中的所有目录中查找吗，查找这个mysqld
FATAL ERROR: Could not find mysqld

The following directories were searched:

    /usr/libexec
    /usr/sbin
    /usr/bin

If you compiled from source, you need to run 'make install' to
copy the software into the correct location ready for operation.

If you are using a binary release, you must either be at the top
level of the extracted archive, or pass the --basedir option
pointing to that location.
