以RedHat Linux 9.0为例。
首先需要tftp软件，如果是完全安装的系统，应该是有的。可以查询：
[root@localhost root]# rpm -qa |grep tftptftp-0.32-4[color="#FF0102"]tftp-server-0.32-4
如果有这样的结果，只需配置tftp即可。修改 /etc/xinetd.d/tftp 文件，将其中的disable改为no：
service tftp
{
        socket_type             = dgram
        protocol                = udp
        wait                    = yes
        user                    = root
        server                  = /usr/sbin/in.tftpd
        server_args             = -s /tftpboot
    [color="#FF0102"]    disable                 = no
        per_source              = 11
        cps                     = 100 2
        flags                   = IPv4
}
然后重启xinetd即可：[root@localhost root]# /etc/rc.d/init.d/xinetd restart
