centos下安装VMware Server

系统为CentOS5.2，安装的VMware Server是1.07（VMware-server-1.0.7-108231.i386.rpm）
1、到VMware官网上下载安装包，注册免费Licensing

VMware Server 2 for Linux  AAM0N-FF00U-U9HC2-42194VMware Server 2 for Windows  A2084-F6J0Y-VAJF0-40NV4VMware Server1.07的rpm包下载地址：
http://download3.vmware.com/software/vmserver/VMware-server-1.0.7-108231.i386.rpm
貌似Server2.0不能下载……
2、安装必须的包：gcc gcc-c++kernel kernel-devel kernel-headerslibXtst-devel libXrender-devel xinetdyum install -y kernel-headers libXtst-devel libXrender-devel xinetd
3、安装VMware Server：rpm -ivh VMware-server-1.0.7-108231.i386.rpm安装完成以后运行配置脚本进行配置：/usr/bin/vmware-config.pl一路顺下去1）阅读协议yes2）In which directory do you want to install the mime type icons? [/usr/share/icons]3）What directory contains your desktop menu entry files? These files have a .desktop file extension. [/usr/share/applications]4）In which directory do you want to install the application's icon? 4、安装完成了以后（不知道用不用运行vmware命令）就可以直接用VMware Server Console去连了：主意的是，此处需要在IP后加上端口904，如：10.168.1.114:904就可以正常操作了。
