VMware可以做群集了
In the .VMX configuration file of you servers you add the line disk.locking = false. By using that parameter the disks will not be locked and both machines can access the shared disk simultaneously.
The sort of disk that you use is important. Normal disks will grow dynamically and the structure of the files is not consistent for both machines. This will cause data corruption. You must use a fixed disk. This can be a real partition on a SCSI-drive in your host-PC but the drawback of that is that it is PC-centric. And the great thing about VMware disk files is that you can back-up the virtual disk files and copy them to other machines if needed.
VMware 2 had an option called plain disks. This is the disk type to use for clustering because it has a fixed geometry, size and structure in both machines, just like with a raw partition. They are not supported for creation in VMware 3 but version 3 can still read these disks. So I have created several plain disks using VMware 2 and placed them on my website. You can use these files as the shared disk for your cluster. (They are empty disks so they are zipped to only a few kilobytes).
以上是原文,难道一定要用VMWARE 2吗? |
