CentOS 5.2 安装流量统计监控软件ntop

1、安装ntop软件
yum install ntop
2、配置ntop
本次测试我采用默认的配置.(/etc/ntop.conf),当然为安全考虑你可以自行用vi /etc/ntop.conf 进行配置。如改端口号之类等.
3、启动ntop
我们的ntop是通过yum方式来安装时候会产生一个Bug, ntop会无法启动出现如下错误提示：
Processing file /etc/ntop.conf for parameters...
Mon Nov 3 04:03:42 2008 NOTE: Interface merge enabled by default
Mon Nov 3 04:03:42 2008 Initializing gdbm databases
FATAL ERROR: Unrecognized/unprocessed ntop options...
, --user ntop, , --db-file-path /var/ntop, , --interface eth0, , , --use-syslog, , , --http-server 3000, , , , ,
run ntop --help for usage information
Common problems:
-B "filter expressions" (quotes are required)
--use-syslog=facilty (the = is required)
我们需要编辑/etc/init.d/ntop文件
vi /etc/init.d/ntop
# 将start()中核心的命令
daemon $prog -d -L @/etc/ntop.conf
# 改成
daemon $prog @/etc/ntop.conf -d -L 即可。
（如您是两个网卡则修改为：daemon $prog @/etc/ntop.conf -d -L2）
4、访问ntop 页面
http://ip:3000
设置ntop管理密码：/etc/init.d/ntop stop
ntop -A 输入密码
