vmware-tools安装

在vmware 5.5.3中安装了rad hat9。
wmware tools是 vmware自带的工具包。有两种安装方式，一是RPM安装包，另一种是TAR包。
rpm安装方式不知道为什么不能成功安装，因此使用tar包安装方式。

安装过程如下：
1、启动并进入Linux系统。
2、然后选择 --> ,此时就会有把VMware-tools文件映像到CD－ROM中。
3、把“VMwareTools-6.0.2-59824.tar.gz”文件复制到自己的需要的位置中（参考/usr/local）。
4、解压
  # tar -zxvf VmwareTools-6.0.2-59824.tar.gz
5、进入目录：cd /usr/local/vmware_tools/vmware-tools-distrib
6、输入 ./vmware-install.pl 进行安装，在安装过程中根据提示进行选择，一路按回车即可，直到最后一个选项选择分辨率：选择3 按回车。

最后的提示语如下：

You can now run VMware Tools by invoking the following command:
"/home/tsm/software/vmware-toolbox" during an X server session.
To use the vmxnet driver, restart networking using the following commands:
/etc/init.d/network stop
rmmod pcnet32
rmmod vmxnet
modprobe vmxnet
/etc/init.d/network start
To make use of the virtual printer, you will need to restart the CUPS service

7.最后重启虚拟机
[root@tsmpc vmware-tools-distrib]#reboot
