内核升级，这是为什么呢？

我在虚拟机上装了个linux（Fedora），做内核升级之后，系统可以成功的起来。之后我又在PC上安装了linux（同前），但是升级之后系统就是起不来。内核都是一样的。这是为什么呢？虚拟机和PC有什么具体的区别啊？给位大虾帮帮忙吧！

你在make menuconfig的时候有些选项没有选择正确.

虚拟机和PC的差别是硬件不同,因此所要的驱动也不同

你应该指出不能起来的原因，例如屏幕上的Panic信息等

可能是配置文件的问题，因为我安装的linux系统的内核是2.6.18的，但是应该是加了补丁的。后来我有把2.6.18的原始的内核（默认配置文件）编译一遍启动是好使的。但是我想升级为2.6.20（默认配置文件）的就不好使了。

2.6.20的内核的启动信息如下所示：

是不是lvm没有选择上,或者是硬盘驱动不了

driver里面的那个lvm没有选.
