linux命令行下如何添加组件

我虚拟机上原来只装develop tools组件，现在想在上面安装oracle。现在想添加基本图形组件。

linux版本：Red Hat linux release 9（Shrike），kernel 2.420-8 on an i686

1、放入光碟，进行升级安装，把关于kde的组件装上。重新启动机器，startx出错
2、rpm -ivh *XFree86*.rpm

rpm -ivh *gnome*.rpm

XFree86 -configure时出现黑屏，等一段时间没有反应。重起电脑，
startx出现如下错误：

xterm出现错误：

小弟比较菜，看不懂上面的提示是什么，请有经验的达人帮忙，如何才能将图形或xterm启动起来。小弟在此谢过。

如果图形界面搞不起来可以换个思路嘛，文本界面照样能装oracle
去搜索一下吧，祝你好运!

谢谢。

我就是在文本界面下安装，需要安装相应的图形界面组件才能启动dbca，否则，runInstall后没有反应。现在是把所有关于kde，xwindow组件添加上以后，还是不行。

虽然重新建了个虚拟机把oracle装上，但是还想弄明白这个问题
