BLFS
) project has announced the first release candidate of BLFS 6.2.0: "The
BLFS Development team is proud to announce the release of the 6.2.0-rc1
version of BLFS. This is a release candidate of the 6.2.0 version, due
to be released on February 14th. You can view the 6.2.0-rc1 version on
your local mirror. For additional information about the release, along

BLFS 6.2.0 is a book that extends the original Linux From Scratch 6.2
by adding a graphical subsystem (X.Org 7.1) and a variety of graphical
and server software, such as KDE 3.5.6, GNOME 2.14.3, Firefox 1.5.0.9,
OpenOffice.org 2.0.3, Apache 2.2.2, etc. For more information please
