redhat9下安装opera8的问题

我下载了opera8的tar文件，解压后，运行./install.sh，出现以下信息:[root@localhost opera8]# ./install

Files will be installed as follows:

可是没有opera图标在桌面上，我只能运行./opera才能打开。我是不是安装方法不对？谁能把具体方法告诉我？
