Hi everyone.
Here i meet a problem. On this computer with redhat7 I can read chinese in mozilla but not in konsole.In fact what i want to do is just talking with friends on msn and writting some letters.
I've read some messages talking about how to install a chinese input pack but after a try it seems nothing works.I tried to install chinput,xcin,unicon etc but failed.
I am really a newguy in linux,could anyone tell me what should i do??It could be better if you give me a guide step by step.Thanks a lot.

Thanks for your reply.I've read dozons of this kind of posts.I got this in the one u suggested:"你也可以通过按ctrl+space调出chinput输入中文了".But how?where it comes??
See that if I can run chinput correctly it could be a waste of time to propose my question...Is there anything more helping?
Maybe i can make the situation maore simple.
I want to install chinput in my computer, I downloaded a pack Chinput-3.0.2.tar.After unpacking and make,I got following message at the very end:
/unicon2 -limmclient -Wl,-rpath=/usr/lib/unicon2 -limm_server -lpth -ldl -lImlib
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -limmclient
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [chinput] Erreur 1
make[1]: Quitte le répertoire `/root/soft/Chinput-3.0.2/src'
make: *** [chinput] Erreur 2


So what' the problem??
