为什么我的机器一接外网线就重启动? [复制链接]

求助,小弟新学linux,碰到以下问题,除重装机器外试验了N种方法,一直不能解决,望高手指点

硬件:IBM xSeries 200
    双网卡:eth0  扩展槽后配的   3com 3***
            eth1  机器主板上原配 Intel  100M

软件:RedHat Linux 9.0

安装过程:全自动(安装时的双网卡设置全是用10.开头的内网IP)

现象:双网卡全是内网IP ,网线接上,一切正常,可上网.无论禁用或启用任意网卡,全部工作正常
      将任一网卡设为外网IP,或全设置为外网IP,只要一插网线,立即重启动.
      如果不拔掉网线,系统启动开始正常,能bringing eth0和eth1 ,启动http等进程正常,但一到输入口令(文本

方式,还未到图形模式)时就不断重启动。

      另外,发生故障后,一定要什么网线都不接,正常重启后,再接内网线,才能正常

你接外网与接内网使用的是同一个交换机吗?
如果同一个交换机是划的vlan吗?

外/内网使用的不是同一个交换机,交换机未划的vlan,两个全是华为2403
外/内网分别是两条不同的线,IP也绝无冲突

我就是不明白它重启的原因,内网可以,外网不行,如果说是网卡硬件冲突可怎么会与IP有关?(此外网IP完全正常,在windows系统下可上网)

为什么我的机器一接外网线就重启动?

没看出什么特殊的地方,好象一个3COM的网卡的驱动有问题.
