　　Linux系统的销售商Red Hat公司已经开始对Linux 3.0操作系统进行beta测试，这是公司计划与今秋推出的高端产品，同时推出的还有一些新的服务器。

　　上周Red Hat公司推出的测试版本被称为“Taroon”，发言人Leigh Day声称，Linux公司计划于今年秋天推出最终的产品。现在的2.1版本产品可以支持带有英特尔公司Xeon与Pentium处理器的服务器与工作站，但3.0版的功能将得以扩展，可以支持基于英特尔公司Itan

　　ium以及AMD公司Opteron与IBM公司所有四种类型的服务器。

　　更广泛的服务器支持功能将使Red Hat公司与其竞争者SuSE形成短兵相接的局面，SuSE公司的Linux产品现在已经可以支持这些服务器。然而，分析人士指出，Linux安装的绝大部分都是使用的英特尔的Pentium或Xeon处理器。

　　Red Hat公司于2002年将其产品线分为两大主要的版本，即Red Hat公司企业用户的企业版Linux与Red Hat公司爱好者的Linux。

太贵了，$1499啊，要买也得是大企业，不知道哪位高人能提供下载啊。。。不过，提供下载也是盗版了，虽然linux是免费的。

提供下载并不是盗版，RH的AS仍然是GPL的，不能限制你安装的机器数量，也不能限制购买了的用户把这个软件提供给别人使用。
当然，不是从RH购买的，不会有RH的服务。
