Responsibilities:
The tasks to be completed in order to fulfill the role

• Design and propose solutions for Online IT infrastructure priorities.
• Sell these concepts to management for budget approval, and ensure that costs are under budget
• Help clients express their requirements instead of solutions.
• Recommend the establishment or modification of current policies and standards where applicable.
• Resolve architectural and design problems.
• Recommend staff training for new technologies.
• Assure a good quality of service by providing insight, capacity planning, design and project management
• Learn and keep on top of current and emerging technologies.

Requirements:
These are the required competencies and skills for the position

• Oral and Written Comprehension of both Mandarin and English
• Must have command of a senior level administrator’s level of experience and act as a reference.
• In-depth knowledge of high-availability Web architecture and technology, including Apache, PHP, Tomcat, load-balancing methods, performance monitoring / tuning, and application/exception troubleshooting
• Skill in developing techniques and methodologies to resolve unprecedented problems or situations.
• Candidate should have an ability to summarize complex information
• Be a good listener and have excellent negotiation skills
• Skill in developing and implementing policies, procedures and standards.
• Support changes and efficiently manage change management
• Create an environment which enhances team spirit
• Ability to write purchase plans, train users in complex topics, present to an internal audience, and interact positively with upper management
• Must be a self-starter that requires only limited supervision/guidance.  
• Candidate must present with honesty, integrity and maintains confidentiality at all times.
• Must be a team player and have good inter-personal communication skills, able to communicate effectively with all levels of technology users

Assets:
These are benefitial skills which would be of immediate use in the position

Significant programming background in any applicable language
Experience in various IT project management methods (SCRUM, traditional)
Knowledge of VMware and other Virtualization technologies
Knowledge of Data Center Management and capacity planning
A degree in computer science or a related field
