我在将数据库改成归档模式后
建了rmants表空间
rman用户，并授予权限
然后执行
$rman catalog rman/rman时出现
rman: can't open catalog错误

数据库oracle 8.1.7 from linux
os: turbolinux 7 dataserver

我就是按指南上做的，可指南上没说会出现这个错误啊。。。

rman: can't open catalog

1、在目录数据库中创建恢复目录所用表空间

SQL>; create tablespace rmants datafile '/u01/app/oracle/oradata/china/rmants.dbf' size 200M ;

表空间已创建。

2、在目录数据库中创建RMAN用户并授权

SQL>; create user rman identified by rman default tablespace rmants temporary tablespace temp quota unlimited on rmants;

用户已创建

SQL>; grant recovery_catalog_owner to rman ;
SQL>; grant connect, resource to rman ;

授权成功。

3、在目录数据库中创建恢复目录

$ rman catalog rman/rman

就出现了以上错误
