Please Help me!

我装了Red Hat在hdc后，但看不到hda(win98)，是不是在hda上的东西都要丢了。Now, I can boot from Linux but no win98.

How did you install win98 and redhat? It must be win98 first, redhat second.

你没说清楚
主分区也就是你原来 的C盘叫 hda1
然后其它扩展分区依次叫 hda5,hda6等
你LINUX装那里了？

I have two IDEs, one is for win98 and 2nd one is for Linux.

mount /dev/hda1 /mnt/win98

看看行不行,当然,先要到/mnt里建立一个win98目录

I tried to do it, but it didn't work. Is there any other method? I think my MBR has changed by LILO. Even I don't use Linux any more, I still can't get my stuff back. It's really horroible.

Don't worry! I think u shoud edit  the configure file  of grub! edit the /boot/grub/grub.conf ,find the second booted OS descriptor.as
Win98,then change the rootnoverify(hdx,y).if u install the win98 in the first harddisk,u shoud instead the 'hdx' with 'hd0' ,or 'hd1'.The
most important thing is the y shoud be correct value.

你应该看看rootnoverify(hdx,y)里边的两个参数是不是正确，你的win98装在第一个盘那么hdx，必须是hd0, 第二个参数很重要，有时候它不是你win98所在分区，得改过来，如果是在hda的第一个分区，就应该是0.看看是不是这样。
