SUN V880 IO等待过高问题

我单位一台SUN V880，4CPU，内存8G，硬盘72G*6(1或1.5万转?)，一个做系统盘，另5个做RAID5，SUNOS 5.8+ORACLE 8.1.7，在数据库中做大批量数据的INSERT或UPDATE时，top和sar均提示IO等待高达50%以上，另外FTP大文件到这台机子也提示IO等待30%以上，总体性能还不如另一台HP LH6000(2CPU,内存2G,REDHAT LINUX 7.2+ORACLE 8.1.6)。请各位高手不吝赐教，是硬件还是软件原因？

建议RAID5变为raid1试试，另外最好别用SUN的FREE的disksuite!!
