NOTE:
1MB = 1,000,000 bytes = one Megabyte
1GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes = one Gigabyte or 1000 Megabytes
1TB = 1,000,000,000,000 bytes = one Terrabyte or 1000 Gigabytes
On OpenServer 5.0.0 or 5.0.2, the maximum IDE disk size supported is 2GB.
If using oss451B, you could install a disk up to 8GB in size.
OpenServer 5.0.4 has an IDE disk size limit of 8GB with no extra drivers
needed.
OpenServer 5.0.5 has an IDE disk size limit of 128GB.
OpenServer 5.0.6 has an IDE disk size limit of 128GB and added support for
ATA100 and lower.
All versions of OpenServer 5 support SCSI disks up to 8TB. |
