How to mount a NTFS file system?

I saw there is a file called mount_ntfs in /sbin, but when I type "mount -t ntfs /dev/ad0s3a /mnt/ntfs", it responsed that : /dev/ad0s3a:no such file or directory. Yes, I found it right when I "ls /dev/ad0s*". But indeed the ad0s3 is an extend partition contents tow NTFS logical partition. How can I mount it?
I am new to FreeBSD, thanx for every1's help!

我平时都是这样作的：mount -t nfts /dev/ad0s3　 /dir
我不知道能不能像你那样用，反正我那样用时报的错和你一样。

Is that we cant mount a extend partition under FreeBSD ?

Yes, FreeBSD can only mount primery partition ! I have just convert my extend partition to primery partition, as the result, I succeed !

I think ad0s5 is a primery partition. An extend partition may contens many logical partition, I think one of them should looks like ad0sa, as FreeBSD's Lable.

# mount_ntfs /dev/ad0s5  /mnt

In the FreeBSD Unleashed(FreeBSD jishu neimu)said that the extend dos subarea(partition) number is begin from 5, so you should use MOUNT_NTFS /DEV/ADXS5 /MNT.

错了， ad0s5就是扩展分区的第一个逻辑盘。
