Either did I !
I tried to install gaim. but it needed xtf, When I intalled Xtf-2.1.2. it reported that  it needed libXrender. when I intalled libXrender-0.8.4 it reported that it needed render.  God !
Ok. When I tried to intall render-0.8. it report it needs automake1.5, when I get automake1.7.9 and it report it need autoconfig 2.1 . when I install autoconfig 2.58. I think it is last time I tired to intall that software. but the render-08 can not find the automake 1.5 God!! help me!
