ROLE: Developer, FXO/IRD Systems Development
REPORTS TO: Head of FXO/IRD Systems Development
LOCATION: Tianjin, China
TERMS: Local
SCOPE OF ROLE:
To perform the role of developer to support the interest rate derivatives and FX Option businesses.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/CHALLENGES:
• Continually enhance the delivery of services to the IRD and FXO businesses through the ongoing analysis of the business requirements as related to technology. Develop need based assessments, recommend solutions, and structure projects.
• Design, develop and test the in-house and vendor solutions
• Assisting Business Analysts and Software Architects converting business requirements into system solutions.
• Helping technology management to establish project scope and define priorities and timeframes.
• Deliver based upon the best practices and compliance with the standards of both Global Markets and Derivatives Systems Development.
• Assist with System Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
• Play an active role in defining and improving the departmental Development and Support processes
• Provide 2nd-level support.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
Technical Skills
• Experience in the complete product lifecycle for FXO and Interest Rate derivatives.
• Knowledge of FXO and Interest Rate Derivatives.
• Knowledge of Murex or another major derivative vendor system. Experience with the implementation of a major derivative system (vendor or proprietary) preferred.
• Knowledge of Murex workflow, batch process, reporting and configuration.
• Excellent knowledge of the SDLC in all aspects.
• Experience and Knowledge with Java or C++, Unix Scripting, SQL, Sybase/Oracle, XML and Perl
Business Competencies

• Relationship Building Skills, including experience of successfully interacting within IT and business users.
