3+ years of Production System Administration on Linux SO (Redhat is a plus).

·         Ability to review the box  health, trace in log files looking for unexpected and expected messages related to an issue

·         Experience with the common Linux commands like grep, less, top, netstat, awk, etc.

·         Good English skills

·         Working knowledge in Linux Operating Systems, file and directory structures, commands, command-line interfaces and utilities.

·         Basic Webservers administration (Apache / Tomcat) "Nice to have"



The daily tasks for this position are:

·         Monitoring performance of servers and processes.

·         Troubleshooting recurring and non-recurring issues.

·         Manage RCA process improvement, detailed analysis, plus corrective actions.

·         Implementing code deployments.

·         Backup / Restore Support.

·         Restore deleted files.

·         User accounts management.

·         Storage Administration and Support.

·         Provide general communications to the end-user communities as appropriate to alert for outages, applications issues and planned upgrades.

·         Maintain user documentation in selected document repositories for all applications and support upgrades.

·         Assistance during major releases.

·         Identify opportunities for support improvement.



This position requires following the U.S holiday calendar while working on the regular China day-shift.
