Technical Architecture/TL– Oracle Apps DBA
Location– Shanghai
Job Description
· Installed Oracle applications 9i IAS, 10g IAS, 11i (11.5.10) /Rel12 and Oracle databases 11g/10g R2/9i (RAC and non RAC).
· Identify and implement/participate in the implementation of hardware, operating system and software enhancements for improving the reliability, performance and availability of the systems.
· Implement application architecture solutions, considering cost, reliability, performance and long-term strategy.
· Manage systems for high availability, and satisfactory response time.
· Be available on an on-call basis for recovery problems and system and application problems.
· Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning; including assisting with fault tolerance and contributing to the design of disaster recovery plans.
· Problem solving ability, excellent communication, ability to drive projects independently, handle customer calls.
· Cloning, patching and other support work.
· Must have worked on RAC, RMAN, Portal, SSO, Concurrent managers, Sysadmin Tasks, etc.
· UNIX Shell scripting.
Skills & Experience
8 years of experience.
Must have implementation and support experience.
Bachelor’s degree required. B.E.
Ability to interact at all levels of clients’ organizations
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
