在linux9.0 上安装oracle8.1.7后，怎么启动数据库？

安装文件中说：
设置自动启动，修改oratab文件
root# vi /etc/oratab
将最后的N改为Y
简单的服务启动脚本：
root# vi /etc/rc.local
添加以下内容：
su ? oracle ?c   'lsnrctl start'
su ? oracle ?c   'dbstart'



我不知道“将最后的N改为Y”是什么意思，就没有修改oratab文件，把“su ? oracle ?c   'lsnrctl start'，su ? oracle ?c   'dbstart'”中的‘？’该为了‘-’，结果重新启动后并没有启动数据库，请问是哪里出错了？

将N改为Y，是允许你用其它的用户启动ORACLE实例。你没有改，当然不能启动数据库了啊。

嗯，你的ORACLE安装后有问题，要是正确，应该有
$ORACLE_SIDORACLE_HOME:N这样一行。是没有被注释的，而且都应该是实际值，而不是变量值。

linking中出现了一些错误提示, 我全给忽略了,大概就是无法编译一些文件,是不是不能忽略?应该怎么重新安装?
