why windows can't identify the different file just via the letter cast.
answer: because of dos did so.
windows MUST compitable with dos,
if a dos file system don't know the difference between lower cast letter & upper cast letter, it is a MUST that windows do so,
or while you copy files from a windows fs to a dos fs, user would be surprised that some file be losed or some file already existed.
it also be the reason that why all filesystem that windows supported can't know the dirrence of letter cast. |
