这是在本机安装的么？先用nslookup检查主机域名解析（看看解析hostname或IP是否正确），不正确的话先纠正。

如果纠正后或解析也是正常的话，可以重启一下swagentd进程再尝试安装。

你这个主机名解析有问题的，没有解析出主机的真正的IP（127.0.0.1是loopback的地址）。先搞定这个问题先吧，然后再重启swagentd。

编辑/etc/hosts文件，把主机和对应的IP填进去。还有如果用DNS的话（这个10.1.2.100是原来设置的DNS吧？），还要检查/etc/resolv.conf的设置。另外还可以添加/etc/nsswitch.conf设置host对应的解析查询顺序。

/etc/hosts的写法有问题，为什么2个IP起一样的hostname？如果第一个“127.0.0.1   rx6600”不用的话就删掉，非得这样用的话把它弄到下一行吧。
/etc/resolv.conf可不是HP的东西，这个也是Berkeley的，通用的东西，所以和HP-UX无关。

另外你的DNS 10.1.2.100配置好named了？能ping通不代表DNS功能好用了。参考下面的资料了解下，目前的resolv.conf第一行没加domain或search。

此外，软件包是用ssh+Xming起的火狐下载的，dns正常。

难道说火狐用的是XServer提供的dns?
