别用Gentoo，用Funtoo。
综合各方面来看，都是Funtoo更好用。

早就说了，普通用户没有必要事事编译，浪费时间，浪费能源。

OpenBSD用package就能够满足绝大多数的需要，做桌面方便、省心。

PDF阅读可以试试MuPDF。

OB不支持虚拟技术，所以不能跑WINDOWS程序， 另外性能比FB要差， 所以FB做桌面好些！  FB也可以用PACKAGE， 不必编译！

个人也是比较喜欢 OB ，喜欢它的精神，喜欢它的严谨，是做服务器的不二选择。
现在的 Linux 内核已经脱离 小即是美 的宗旨了，越来越庞大。只有 OB 还在坚持着

用于挺长一段时间的 FB 做桌面系统，但一直没发现有编译的温度过高的问题啊。但现在准备改用 OB 做桌面
