请问副DNS服务器何时会启用？

在TCP/IP属性中配置主，副2台DNS服务器地址，请问副DNS服务器何时会被启用来相应DNS查询请求？
是当主DNS服务器中没有要查的记录时就自动转到副DNS服务器来查询，
还是当主DNS服务器不可用（比如说down掉了，网络断了）时才启用副DNS服务器呢？

The DNS client does not utilize each of the DNS servers listed in TCP/IP configuration for each query. By default, on startup the DNS client will attempt to utilize the server in the Preferred DNS server entry. If this server fails to respond for any reason, the DNS client will switch to the server listed in the alternate DNS server entry. The DNS client will continue to use this alternate DNS server until:

(1) It fails to respond to a DNS query, or:
(2) The ServerPriorityTimeLimit value is reached (15 minutes by default).

也就是说只要主DNS能响应，即使它没有需查询的记录也不会自动转到副DNS了？

我刚才做了个测试，查询一个DNS名字，主DNS没有记录，副的有，用nslookup的时候，会返回没有查到的消息，但是直接PING这个名字，确又可以正确解析，不理解是为何呢？

hi,patrick,是你吗? ping是查询反向记录的，你的那个情况在主DNS上启用转发器就行了，转发到副DNS的IP上即可

ipconfig/flushdns
清掉缓存，再用ping试下。
nslookup命令不会取缓存，每次都重新发起dns请求。
