It varies from traing center to training center. More specifically, it depends on who is teaching. I went to some trainings here in US and very lucky. Those guys deal with unix over 20 years and some of them even spent a couple years reading unixs ource code when they are with Lucent( Bell Lab).
Also it depends what traing course you plan to attend. If you want to take ST350(Fault Analysis), SA400 (enterprise performance tuning) or other advanced traing, the instructor is more importanr. For SA118, SA238, SA288, it does not matter much.

i had SA238,SA288 in Bejing,Sun Trainning Dept, this April.
The teacher of SA238 is an old woman,about 55 years old,who graduated from Tsinghua ,trained by USA for her Unix knowledge and she also have more than 20 years experience on that. But she is not a good instructor, whose some concepts were confused.
The instructor of SA288 is a very good teacher. She is a young woman who jump to Sun form a system integrated company.

If u r really a newbie of Sun Machine, the labs r very helpful.
If u have Unix experience,as i do,u can grasp Sun\'s spirit as qucikly as u can.
If u can go there freely, Go, just like myself, don\'t worry about anything.
