可以用/usr/ucb/shutdown

I have read the article and run \"/etc/init.d/nfs.server star\". But i got the message stating:
\"NFS server was not started because dfs/dfstab can not find the entry\"

what can i do?

Also i used \"poweroff\" but it just restart the os not shutdown...

cat /etc/vfstab

also
df -k

to see if it has mounted any NFS directories.

is the solaris box on the network?
