if you\'d mentioned \'xclock\' earlier,  that would not have confused me in the first place.

you said there is only problem with \'su - oracle\', but you said \"root/oracle抱同样的错\" again. anyway, this is easy one. what else follows \"can\'t open display\"? if nothing, you didn\'t set DISPLAY. if something like \":1\", it is about X server access permission.  

if you want to have your problem resolved quickly, give clear description.

第一次摸SOLARIS, 没有用过.
是别人让我用admintool测试的.

远程登录后，将Display设到本机
set display=hostname:0

设置了.

直接用ORACLE 登陆，runInstaller可以,
但如果用root登陆，在转到oracle,  则不可以runInstaller。

oracle$ xclock
Error: Can\'t open display:
oracle$ DISPLAY=:0.0
oracle$ export DISPLAY
oracle$ echo $DISPLAY
:0.0
oracle$ xclock
Xlib: connection to \":0.0\" refused by server
Xlib: Client is not authorized to connect to Server
Error: Can\'t open display: :0.0

Open another terminal and type
#xhost +local:

return to this term
oracle$./runInstaller

Isn\'t that work?
