There are several ways to do the unzip-untar-thing, don\'t be confused, if you don\'t familiar with it, stick to the easy way:\r\nfor *.gz :    gunzip *.gz\r\nfor *.tar :   tar xvf *.tar\r\n\r\nIf you ftp the file to Solaris from Windows ( I think u did), be sure use \'binary\' mode t0 transfer it by issuing \'binary\' command in FTP before starting transfer.
