谁能介绍下J2SE SDK和J2SE JRE?

我在java.sun.com想下下载J2SE, 却发现有这两个东西, 谁能解释下这两者的区别?\r\n\r\n另外, J2SE SDK和J2SE JRE的安装文档有如下说明:\r\n其中J2SE SDK的如下:\r\nInstalling the 64-bit Java 2 SDK for the Solaris operating system on SPARC platforms is a two-step process. \r\n\r\n1,First, install the 32-bit Java 2 SDK. Refer to the 32-bit Java 2 SDK Installation Notes . \r\n\r\n2, Second, install the supplemental files for 64-bit support using the following 64-bit installation instructions. \r\n \r\n  J2SE JRE的如下:\r\n\r\n\r\nInstalling a 64-bit Java 2 Runtime Environment (J2RE) is a two-step process. \r\n1,First, install the 32-bit Java 2 Runtime Environment. Refer to the 32-bit Java Runtime Environment Installation Instructions . \r\n\r\n2,Second, install the supplemental files for 64-bit support using the following installation instruction\r\n\r\n我不太明白,这两样东西,为何要先安装32位的SDK或JRE后,才能安装64位的SDK或JRE? 如果是64位OS,不能直接就安装64位的SDK或JRE吗?\r\n\r\n敬请解答,TKS!

应该是安装64位的时候需要调用32位的东东吧。
