I can\'t find the model of LP e1000 on Emulex website http://www.emulex.com/products/fc/index.html. \r\n\r\ne model is a family of Emulex 4 Gb FC PCI Express HBA. It isn\'t supported on Solaris now in the techical specification \r\nhttp://www.emulex.com/products/fc/e11k/ds.html and HBA driver website http://www.emulex.com/ts/downloads/lpe11xxx/11000.html.\r\n\r\nI suggest you to check if the Emulex HBAnyware is installed on your Sun system running pkginfo | grep HBAnyware.\r\n# pkginfo | grep HBAnyware\r\nsystem HBAnyware Emulex HBAnyware FC Host Bus Adapter Remote Manager\r\n\r\nIf you can\'t find it, you need to download the HBA driver in http://www.emulex.com/ts/downloads/solpci/sol.html and install it. The software is included in the driver package.\r\n\r\nOnce you run /usr/sbin/hbanyware/hbanyware, the utility should detect the HBA and show you the mapping target and lun. If it fails to display the HBA, the HBA may not be supported on Solaris. \r\n\r\nContact with Emulex support guys to make sure the HBA works on Solaris. |
