How can i update my jdk without root priority ?

I didn\'t have the root right of the mathine\r\n\r\nbut i wana run the eclipse which needs the jdk 1.4.2 on my solaris .and the default jdk on the solaris 8 is \r\n\r\njdk 1.2. so how can i make my eclipse run normaly without the right of root ?

1. download the jdk1.4.2\r\n2. run the install script in your HOME directory(e.g, /export/home/percy)\r\n    you can get a directory such as \"jdk1.4.2\" in /export/home/percy.\r\n3. export PATH=/export/home/percy/jdk1.4.2/bin:$PATH\r\n4. export JAVA_HOME=/export/home/percy/jdk1.4.2\r\n5. make sure the CLASSPATH variable is contain /export/home/percy/jdk1.4.2 than jdk1.2\r\n6 run eclipse\r\n\r\n-------\r\nThe End

i know how to do thi on linux .but on solaris ,...........

JAVA_HOME=/opt/jdk1.4.2\r\nexport JAVA_HOME\r\n\r\nIt based on your shell.
