系统为SUN OS 5.9\r\n数据库为SYBASE15.0\r\n应用为SUN APPSERVER8.2\r\n项目为BS结构。\r\n在客户端调用服务端程序的时候，本应为图形显示的界面报错，错误信息为：\r\nThat error means your are not running xserver process. Or, your ssh connection is not set-up to forward X-11 data. \r\n注：ssh 提供的一个重要功能就是 X 转发功能，它可以在客户端的显示屏上把服务器端 X 程序的运行结果以图形形式显示出来显示在客户端的显示屏幕上。\r\n听说可以调整SSH设置而解决此问题，请各位高手指点。谢谢

That is right. You need to change the server side sshd_config file to X11Forwarding yes ( and restart the ssd daemon). You need to configure client ssh program to enable X11 forwarding. I use Putty and the setting is under SSH-->X11 and click Enable X11 forwading and authentication protocol as MIT-Magic-Cookie-1. Now you can open Xserver software such as Exceed to run in the background on your PC, ssh to the server and get your GUI
