You should definitely be able to boot from CDROM as long as your device aliase is setup right. Or if you know the path to your CDROM, you can set it with nvalias command at OK prompt. Boot from net is easier if you have a boot server already configured. Once you boot it up, you can mount /dev/dsk/c0t0d0s0 (assuming that is your / partition) under /a. Remove path_to_inst file ( mv /a/etc/path_to_inst /a/etc/path_to_inst.old. Reboot your machine with boot -ra. It should prompt you to rebuild the /etc/path_to_inst file. Hopefully that will resolve your issue. |
