问zfs的性能如何？oracle跑在上面如何？

原来的oracle在solaris默认的文件系统上面跑的，性能瓶颈凸显。准备迁移到裸设备，但是管理手段欠缺，没有钱买veritas quick i/o。\r\n发现有zfs，不知道性能如何？请各位高手指教。\n\n[ 本帖最后由 fanxiaonan 于 2007-11-27 14:27 编辑 ]

ZFS has some performance features such as COW, multiple block sizing, pipelined I/O and intelligent prefetch etc. But I won\'t say that you go zfs for its performance. ZFS is for easy management and data integrity. ZFS will use a bit more system resources such as CPU time. The problem here is why filesystem becomes your performance bottleneck. Sure, filesystem uses buffer cache, but it shouldn\'t cause a big performance impact. You can actually bypass the buffer by using forcedirectio option when you mount your UFS filesystem.
